You can write your text, getting it just the way you want it. Then you can highlight the part you want underlined, and left click on U at the top left (B IU means Bold, Italics, Underline)
Or you can left click on U and then left click on U and everything you type will be underlined.
When you want to stop the underlining, you have to click the U again to turn it off, then use the space bar, and then you can continue typing without text being underlined. You can tell when the underlining is on because there will be a lighter-colored box around the letter U. Example: I am typing along and it is underlined. Now I am finished. Now my typing is not underlined.
